The work is an abstract representation highlighting the lack of communication and the opposition between two sides. It consists of two slabs with different textures, compressing a mass between them. At the top and bottom of the slab, there are two metal elements symbolizing the permanence of this situation.
The base of the work, made of dark gray marble, features lines moving in two directions without meeting. These lines symbolize poor communication, when two sides cannot understand each other, sometimes leading to violence between them. The lack of communication is detrimental to a social group, also known as “collateral damage.”
