The sculptural creation “Balance” depicts a stack of stones, one on top of the other, similar to those we played with as children on the beach. However, in this case, it is a single piece of marble that has been sculpted, not just separate stones that have been joined together. The artwork reminds us that we are all connected. If we want society to reach the ideals that each of us has in mind, we need to support one another, but a fundamental prerequisite for such a thing to work is that there is balance in our relationships.
